Cookies and similar storage
Last updated 2 October 2026
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar place in your browser. This page lists every one the hub uses, what it is for and how long it lasts. Nothing for counting visits is stored unless you say yes.
Change your choice about counting visits at any time:

| fgh:signin-attemptsession storage. Needed for the hub to work. | Remembers which sign-in service you pressed, to show the right message if you come back without finishing. | Until you close the tab. | When you press a sign-in service. |
| ph_ followed by a project key and _posthoglocal storage. Only if you say yes. | PostHog’s random number for your browser, so that visits can be counted. Changing your choice
Your answer about counting visits can be changed at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or in Settings under Privacy if you have an account. Saying no deletes the PostHog item above straight away and stops anything being sent.
What is not here
The hub does not use advertising cookies, and it does not put tracking code from social networks in its pages. The map, fonts and images come from the hub’s own address. The services that sign you in (LinkedIn, Google and Microsoft) set their own cookies on their own pages, under their own notices, when you go there.
